Mailchimp connector

Connect Mailchimp to keep a client mind current on sent campaigns and results.

What Armbrain imports

Each sent campaign creates exactly two memories:

  • One content memory with the subject line and clean email text.
  • One short results memory with recipients, opens, open rate, clicks, click-through rate, and revenue when Mailchimp provides it.

Armbrain does not import subscriber profiles or store who opened or clicked. It stores only campaign totals.

Get your Mailchimp API key

  1. In Mailchimp, open Account & billing.
  2. Choose Extras, then API keys.
  3. Create or copy an API key. A valid key ends with a data-center suffix such as -us21.

Connect

  1. Open Armbrain HQ and select Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Mailchimp.
  3. Pick the client mind that owns the campaigns.
  4. Paste the API key and connect.

The key is validated with Mailchimp and encrypted before storage. Sent campaigns then sync every 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Drafts and scheduled campaigns are not imported.
  • Campaign results can change after send. The connector records results available when it first imports a sent campaign.
  • If Mailchimp rejects the key, confirm the full key includes its -usNN suffix and create a new key if needed.
