Client Mind Templates

How to use pre-built templates to create new client minds that come pre-loaded with structure, configuration, and seed knowledge - so you skip the blank-page problem.

What Are Client Mind Templates?

When you create a new client mind from scratch, it starts empty. You need to set up the brand voice, configure the cadence, add stakeholder profiles, and seed initial knowledge before Armbrain can be useful for that client.

Client Mind templates skip that setup. A template creates a new client mind with pre-configured settings and seed memories already in place. You fill in the client-specific details, and you are ready to work.

When to Use This

Browsing Available Templates

"Show me the available client mind templates"

Or:

"What templates are available?"

This returns the template catalog with a summary of each option:

1. Fractional CMO Prospect Mind (v1.0)
Pre-configured prospect mind for fractional CMO prospect pipeline.
   Type: sales

Templates are curated by the Armbrain team. The catalog grows as common patterns emerge from how CMOs use the product.

Installing a Template

To install with the default name from the template:

"Install the fractional CMO prospect mind template"

To install with a custom name for a specific prospect:

"Install the prospect mind template for Acme Corp"

Behind the scenes, this:

  1. Creates a new client mind (using the template name or your custom name)
  2. Applies pre-built configuration (pipeline stage, cadence, client mind type)
  3. Seeds the client mind with starter memories tagged template:template-slug
  4. Records the template version in the client mind's preferences

You will see a confirmation with the client mind name, template version, and how many seed memories were loaded.

What Comes Pre-Loaded

Each template includes three types of content:

Configuration

Settings like mind_type, pipeline_stage, and cadence are pre-set to match the template's purpose. A prospect mind template starts at the prospecting pipeline stage. A client onboarding template starts with a standard monthly cadence.

Seed Memories

Starter knowledge that gives the client mind structure from day one. For a prospect mind, this might include:

These memories are tagged with template:template-slug so you can always tell which knowledge came from the template versus what you added yourself.

Suggested Next Steps

After installation, Armbrain suggests what to do next to make the client mind useful for your specific situation - typically filling in the prospect or client name, adding stakeholder profiles, and scheduling your first meeting prep.

Customizing After Installation

Templates are starting points, not constraints. After installation, the client mind is fully yours to customize:

The template version is tracked in the client mind's preferences. There is no automatic update mechanism in v1 - if a template gets updated, existing client minds installed from the old version are not affected.
