Connect one Missive team inbox to a client mind so its conversations stay searchable in Armbrain.
Before you connect
You need a client mind, a Missive API token, and the ID of a team with its team inbox enabled. In Missive, open Settings → API, create a token, then open Resource IDs to copy the team ID. Missive API tokens require a Productive-plan organization.
Treat the token like a password. Enter it only in Armbrain HQ.
Connect
- Open Settings → Connectors in Armbrain HQ.
- Choose Missive.
- Select the client mind that should receive the conversations.
- Paste the API token and team inbox ID.
- Select Continue.
Armbrain checks that the token can see the selected team inbox before encrypting and saving it.
What it imports
- New and changed conversations from the selected team inbox.
- Conversation subjects, senders, and readable message bodies.
- Up to 500 changed conversations per poll and up to 100 messages per conversation, to keep each Worker run bounded.
The first sync starts with the most recent 500 team-inbox conversations. Later syncs pick up changed conversations without duplicating unchanged versions; older history outside that initial safety window is not backfilled by this first slice.
Sync behavior
- Polling runs every 15 minutes.
- Authentication failures pause the connector so the token can be replaced.
- Temporary Missive errors and rate limits retry automatically.
Troubleshooting
- API token rejected: Create a new token in Missive Settings → API and confirm its owner can open the team inbox.
- Team inbox not found: Copy the team ID from Missive Settings → API → Resource IDs, not the team name.
- Team inbox disabled: Enable the team inbox in Missive or choose another team.
- A new conversation is missing: Wait for the next 15-minute poll. This first slice intentionally limits the initial import to the 500 most recent conversations.
