Import Otter.ai Transcripts

Otter.ai's public API is currently available only to Enterprise workspaces, not

the self-serve Pro or Business plans most fractional CMOs use. Until Otter makes

the API self-serve, import each finished transcript by copying or exporting it

from Otter and pasting it into Claude.

Import a transcript

  1. In Otter, open the conversation you want to import.
  2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner, then select Export.
  3. Choose Clipboard or TXT and turn on Show speaker names. Timestamps

are optional.

  1. Paste the transcript into Claude and say:

> ingest this Otter transcript for <client>

Replace <client> with the client mind's name. Claude will confirm the target

mind before ingesting the transcript. Keeping speaker names in the export lets

Armbrain preserve who said what.

If you use Otter on mobile

Open the conversation's Transcript tab, tap the three-dot menu, choose

Export text, and then share or paste the exported text into Claude with the

same instruction above.

Why there is no automatic Otter connector yet

Verified July 26, 2026:

says API keys and transcript endpoints are available to Enterprise workspaces.

under Enterprise, which requires scheduling a demo rather than buying a

self-serve plan.

confirms that manual text export is available and can include speaker names.

Armbrain will re-check API availability. If Otter adds transcript API access to

a self-serve plan, the automatic connector can be reconsidered.
