Trello connector

Connect one Trello board to a client mind so Armbrain can keep its open cards, descriptions, and checklists current.

Before you connect

You need three values from Trello:

  1. Open trello.com/app-key while signed into the Trello account that can read the board.
  2. Copy the API key shown on that page.
  3. Use the token link on the same page to generate a token with read access, then copy the token.
  4. Open the board in Trello. Its address looks like https://trello.com/b/AbCd1234/board-name. Copy the value after /b/ - AbCd1234 in this example - as the board ID.

Treat the API key and token like passwords. Do not paste them into email or a shared document.

Connect

  1. Open Settings → Connectors in Armbrain HQ.
  2. Choose Trello.
  3. Select the client mind that should receive the board's cards.
  4. Paste the API key, read-only token, and board ID.
  5. Select Continue.

Armbrain checks the credentials, resolves the short board ID to Trello's stable long ID, and encrypts the API key and token before storage.

What Armbrain imports

Archived cards are skipped. Armbrain checks the board every 15 minutes. When a card is edited or moved, Trello updates its activity time and Armbrain ingests the new version without duplicating the earlier version.
