Business OS

Walk into the weekly meeting with the agenda done.

For anyone who runs an EOS-style weekly leadership meeting, for their own company or a client's. Armbrain keeps the rocks (the quarter's top priorities), the sprint, the scorecard and the issues in that team's mind. One prompt turns them into an agenda that starts where last week ended.

The grind

The meeting is weekly. So is the scramble.

Before every leadership meeting someone chases rock owners for an update, copies numbers into the scorecard, digs last week's to-dos out of the notes, and guesses which issues matter most. By the time the agenda is ready, part of it is already out of date.

  • Rock status lives in people's heads until someone asks.
  • Last week's to-dos get lost between the notes and the task tool.
  • The issues list grows every week and nobody knows which three matter.

The flow

6 steps · 1 app

From last week's notes to this week's agenda

  1. Last week's meeting comes in

Last week's meeting notes from Granola, Zoom or Microsoft Teams are filed under the right team, and the decisions and to-dos in them are saved, with an owner wherever the notes name one. Teams may need your Microsoft admin to approve access.

  2. Rocks, with owners and status

Armbrain lists each rock with its owner, status, and current sprint goals.

  3. Promises checked

It checks every commitment from the last meeting and shows which are done, which are late and which are at risk.

  4. Numbers on the scorecard

Give this week's numbers in plain words, such as 'qualified leads were 42', and Armbrain updates the scorecard after you confirm.

  5. Agenda built

Armbrain builds the agenda from the scorecard, rocks, open to-dos, and issues.

  6. New issues captured all week

Say 'add an issue' anytime, and it joins next week's list after you confirm.

The payoff

The hour goes to solving, not to status.

Status is already documented, so the team focuses on solving key issues. Afterward, new decisions and to-dos save to the mind to prep next week's meeting.

Change these first:

CLIENTCOMPANY = Tidewater Logistics

Armbrain, prep this week's leadership meeting for CLIENTCOMPANY.

1. Switch to the CLIENTCOMPANY mind.
2. List this quarter's rocks with owner and status (on track, off track or done), and show what the current sprint was meant to finish.
3. Check every commitment and to-do from last week's leadership meeting. Mark each one done, late or at risk, with the owner.
4. Show the scorecard and flag any number that is off its goal. Ask me for any number that is missing. Do not change the scorecard until I confirm.
5. List the open issues and suggest the three that most need discussion this week, with one line on why.
6. Build the agenda for the meeting from all of the above.

Show where each item came from. Ask me before you save or change anything in Business OS.

Example prompt. The client and people in it are fictional; replace them with your own.

Before you rely on it: The agenda is only as current as what is saved. If a rock owner has not given an update or last week's notes are missing, fill those gaps before the meeting starts. Changes to rocks, the scorecard and issues wait for your confirmation.
