Dropbox + Armbrain

If a client's files live in Dropbox, point Armbrain at the folder. It reads what is there and keeps up as files change.

One connection feeds one client mind.

What Armbrain takes from Dropbox

Armbrain reads the Dropbox folder you connect, including subfolders.

  • Files in that folder, read as text so you can search them.
  • New and changed files keep the mind current.
Left alone

Access is read-only. Armbrain cannot change your Dropbox.

What it's good for

Connect Dropbox

  1. Switch to the client in Claude and ask it to connect Dropbox for that client's folder, for example /Clients/Ridgeline. You can also choose Connect Dropbox in Armbrain HQ Connectors with the client's mind selected.

  2. Sign in with Dropbox and approve read access.

  3. Check the connection in HQ Connectors. Connecting from HQ covers the whole Dropbox account, so name a folder in Claude when other clients' files live in the same Dropbox.
