What Armbrain takes from Microsoft Teams

Teams comes in as two connections. Use one or both.

Teams Transcripts: the full transcript of each meeting, with speaker names and the meeting subject.
Teams Channels: message text and sender names from the channels you map to clients.
From each meeting, the decisions, commitments and people, saved with the right client.

Left alone

No audio, video or file attachments. Channel messages start from when you connect; older history is not pulled in.

Connect Microsoft Teams

In Armbrain HQ, open Connectors and choose Teams Transcripts, Teams Channels, or both.
Sign in with Microsoft. If a screen asks for admin approval, send it to your IT team.
For channels, map each channel to a client. Transcripts are matched to clients by who attended.

Good to know

Your IT admin often needs to approve access, and meeting transcription must be turned on in the Teams admin center.
Teams can take a while to finish a transcript after a meeting ends. Armbrain picks it up on a later check.
Channels you do not map are ignored.

Questions about Microsoft Teams

What does Armbrain read from Microsoft Teams?

Connect Teams Transcripts for meeting transcripts and speaker names. Connect Teams Channels for message text and sender names from mapped channels. No audio, video or files.

Can Armbrain change anything in Microsoft Teams?

No. Both connections are read-only. Armbrain cannot post, edit or delete in Teams.

How does Armbrain know which client it belongs to?

Transcripts: it matches attendee emails to people saved in each client's mind. If people from two clients attended, both clients get a copy. If nobody matches, it waits in Review. Channels: map each channel to one client.

How do I disconnect Microsoft Teams?

In Armbrain HQ, open Connectors. Choose Disconnect for Teams Transcripts, Teams Channels, or both. Or ask Claude to disconnect them. New transcripts and messages stop coming in. Saved items remain. To remove them, contact support.
